Travel Guide: Vancouver B.C., Canada 2017

Travel Guide: Vancouver B.C., Canada 2017

I spent a good week at Vancouver B.C. and visited several places.

This is by no means a comprehensive travel guide of such a big city, but these are some of the places I enjoyed visiting, and would totally go back again!

Richmond Night Market

This place boasts to be the biggest night market in North America and it was amazing. There were so much good food, and don't worry, there will be a post of all the foods we had in all it's glory ;)

I came back home, and immediately told my mum that the next time we go as a family, we should go here for food.

Granville Island

Granville Island is far-ish but it's totally worth the trip! For one, it's a typical farmer's market you see, but also have some great local boutiques and shops. Plus, the entire area is by itself so there are a lot of places to sit, visit, and explore.

I bought my Vancouver souvenir there, and I have no regrets!

Canada Place

Probably the most cliche place of Vancouver B.C. But, it is cliche for a reason. It's a beautiful place to see the mountains and the water of Canada. We went on a really beautiful day, and it was very calming to be in a place that combined my favorite elements: city life + water.

But as a heads up, there really isn't much to do there.

Gas Town

Probably another cliche place of Vancouver, but again, it's cliche for a good reason.

It is a great place to eat good food, but also to wander around. They have the biggest selection of cheesy Canadian souvenirs, as a heads up :P

Aberdeen Mall

Now, I wouldn't necessarily say this is the best place to visit on a trip to Vancouver, and tbh, this was a last minute addition to our itinerary

This place is considered the 'Asian' mall, and with good reason. There are a ton of Asian food stores, but also places of Asian fashion. I didn't get anything from the area because I have walked away from Asian fashion for awhile, and did not necessarily want to go back :p Although there is nothing wrong with that :) It's just not my thing.

My entire trip wasn't necessarily very active, but the point of this vacation was to really relax, explore a new place with my boo, and just enjoy each other's company.

And I would say this trip was a success.

Where are you traveling to next? Or where do you want to travel next?
