The Grey Matter
Even though on the calendar it is technically spring now, Northampton is still chilly and cloudy. It was a rare moment for my photographer and I to be able to see the sun. And that may be a reason why I am wearing all grey in this outfit.
But also because grey is not black and white. It's somewhere in the middle, and right now, the Spring in Northampton is someone in between spring and summer. At least it's warming up though!
I, for one, am grateful for finally being able to bust out my cardigans and not having to wear thick jackets over it. It feels light and flowy, which is also why I purchased this cardigan in the first place.
Grey is such a soft color that it only makes sense for my tops to be soft as well. And this t-shirt from Project Social T is SOFT. This was my first t-shirt in a good couple of years, and it's bringing me hope for the t-shirt world.
But at least my jeans are grungy looking, and even though is made of a soft material, it's still rough looking.
These jeans from Nordstrom was expensive. I mean, it's Nordstrom so, what do you expect?
But they look great on. It's a dark grey shade and the rips are very well positioned. I call my style classy and comfortable, but there are those moments when I want to have a bit of an edge in my outfit. And these jeans do not disappoint.
I finished off my outfit with one of my favourite sandles. They are made of a soft material, and I've had them for a good year or more. Granted, I don't wear them all year, but they are super soft, and are very comfortable.
"I think fashion is a lot of fun. I love clothes. More than fashion or brand labels, I love design. I love the thought that people put into clothes. I love when clothes make cultural statements and I think personal style is really cool. I also freely recognize that fashion should be a hobby." - Anne Hathaway
