"Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world."
- Marilyn Monroe
When you walk into my dorm room, the first thing you will notice is that I have a lot of book shelf space, and then you will notice that out of 2/3 of the book shelf space I can reach, that 2/3 of it is covered in different kinds of shoes.
And most people comment on it.
While others exclaim how many shoes I have, my parents think it's a nuisance and unnecessary. Well, I disagree.
I think a good pair of shoes can alter an outfit and make a certain outfit look polished and timeless.
I will go into more depth about each shoe below, but keep in mind, I have WAY more shoes that the ones I am posting about. But these are the shoes that I currently love, and actually wear.

I have been searching far and wide for a pair of work heels that is comfortable, fits my feet, and doesn't kill it within the first 2 minutes of wearing it.
And I have found them.
These shoes are incredibly comfortable because of it's softer sole, but also because the heel is wider and supports more of my heel, I can wear these for a long time and not feel like my feet want to run away. I highly recommend them.

Okay, people say UGG's are a basic bi*ch shoe, and while I agree, I am also not ashamed of owning a pair, and neither should you.
But these are different from the classic ones you see around.
I used to own a pair with the classic foam sole, but I had issues with it. It would wear too easily, and it is also bad to wear when it's wet outside.
But then I discovered these, and they are worth every penny. Not only do they have the classic shape and sheep wool lining, it's sole is made of rubber, so it's durable and the traction is great for wet weather.
These are a pair of UGG's that I recommend more than the others.
Can be found here. (Currently on sale!)
I will be the first to admit that I got these kind of late, to the point where I haven't had a chance to wear them because it was snowing outside when I first got them.
But I have worn them around dry places, and I cannot tell you how much I love them.
I never understood why high ankle boots are in, but I can tell you now that they are amazing. They elongate your figure.
And these shoes are absolutely comfortable. The heel is thick enough that there is very little pain, and it's also a beautiful color. My picture does it zero justice. Highly recommend!

I will be the first to admit that I think River Island is a little expensive, for the kind of products they have. But still, these shoes were worth every penny (Original, $80, I paid $72).
I have owned these shoes for a little over a year, and they go with every outfit I put together. They are good quality, and so far, they have no broken on me. I can always count on these pair of booties if I am too lazy to wear other pairs of shoes.
They also work well in snowy weather because of how good their soles are.
I fell in love with these shoes when I found them on ASOS. They are so beautiful and I really love them.
However, while they go well with a majority of the clothes in my closet, they are painful to wear for longer than 15 minutes because of their lack of sole.
I think for these shoes I would have to buy those sole stickers that I put under my feet. Otherwise, they are gorgeous. I just feel like I have gotten the use out of the price yet.
Out of all the shoes in this collection, these are by far the oldest, and the most worn. It's been worn so much that the padding as come off on both shoes. So it's basically falling apart.
But Sperry Top-Sider shoes are my go-to. They are my favourite summer shoe, because I can walk long distance with them, and they are comfortable. It's made out of leather so it's extremely durable.
I've had these shoes for 4 years, and they can still be worn with almost no problems aside from the padding.
I recommend these shoes to everyone.
NOTE: These are a pain to break in, but after they are broken in they are incredibly comfortable!
I've been dying to get a pair of white sneakers for forever, and last year I finally did it.
These are extremely comfortable, and look great in the summer or whenever you wear them. Since it is white, it does take cleaning occasionally, but because of the material, it's pretty easy to clean.
I think I may upgrade to Adidas white sneakers soon, but otherwise these are pretty great.

I purchased these 2 months ago, and I have basically been wearing these every other day since then.
They are incredibly comfortable, can be worn in the snow and cold weather, and they are durable in long distance traveling.
One thing I will note is that these are heavier than your average shoe, which probably explains the durability. I believe they are also supposed to be hiking/working boots, so that may also be part of the weight.
Regardless, I am in love with these shoes. They were worth every penny (I bought these on sale, but I would've bought them full price too!).
I purchased these at an outlet store, and I love them.
They bring a pop of color to my wardrobe, and they are extremely comfortable. I mean, it's Nike.
I will warn you though, that they are not really meant for long-term walking, because they do not have very good arch support.

A trend you may have noticed is that most of my shoes are good for every day use, and these are no different. I've had these for about 2.5 years, and they still work for me.
It keeps my feet warm in the colder months (but you gotta wear thick socks) and it keeps my feet breathable in the summer months (if you wear ankle socks like me, do not wear these with these shoes).
