Seattle's Best Time of the Year
'To some extent, Seattle remains a frontier metropolis, a place where people can experiment with their lives, and change and grow and make things happen.'
- Tom Robbins
I tell almost everyone I meet that I'm not a big fan of Seattle, and for the most part, it's true.
You see, I associate Seattle as my temporary home (I moved from Sydney, Aus, where I grew up there), and as a city of rain. And I do not like rain.
I honestly think that if it wasn't for my mother's extended family,
we wouldn't have moved to Seattle of all cities.
But still, even though I say that, I am unbelievably grateful for the city.
Because it is in this city where I finally did well at school, made my parents proud, found my current boyfriend, and got the opportunity to attend such a wonderful college right now.
And so, even though I've always seen it as my temporary home, it is always a temporary home I look forward to returning to.
But also, I love coming back here during Seattle's Best Time of the Year, and that is the summer months. Undeniably, summer's at Seattle have gotten warmer and warmer every year, but the beautify blue water mirrored by the blue sky is hard to dislike.
Whenever Seattle gets sunny, I always fall in love with the city, and this year is no exception.
This outfit, as simple as it is, is undeniably become one of my favorite outfits, but it's probably also because the backdrop of the photos just bring me happiness by itself.
What's your favorite city to be at in the summer months?
