TooFaced 'Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder' Review

Since I'm working soon, I needed a powder that I can bring with me on the go. My Laura Mercier translucent powder is a-mazing (my holy grail) but there is no way I can bring it with me to work because it would be bulky. So I decided to give this a try, especially since Claire Marshall, one of my fav YouTubers, swears by this product. And let me just say, I'm happy with this purchase (even though this is kinda expensive...)

Packaging

I have nothing new to say about the packaging. It's a pale pink, slim, and very easy to carry around with you.

The sponge in the product is not two sided but just one. I don't know how I feel about that because the other side is for your fingers (never really liked that part...) however it is still helpful for touch-ups during the day.

Initial Application

Not a lot of excess powder comes out, but it is very fine powder.

I definitely prefer applying this powder with a brush than the sponge. I will say that because this is a pressed powder, I think it is better to use dabbing motions on your face instead of sweeping. If you sweep, it seems to not control the oil very well.

This powder is semi-mattifying, or at least it controls the shine from the liquid foundation.

Lasting Power

This powder does not prevent your face from getting oily during the day. But it is easy for touch-ups if you bring it with you. I purchased this product because I needed it for touch-ups since my face does get oily, so it isn't surprising that this cannot control my amount of shine.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this is a great pressed powder for on the go. It is compact, and easy to use. And it definitely controls the shine for a while. Definitely recommend if you need a pressed translucent powder
