Spitfire Sunglasses Review

Quay Australia was my first venture into the sunglasses field, and I must admit, that they got me hooked! But for what they make, the quality and the customer service experience isn't the best I have dealt with. So then I discovered Spitfire Sunglasses, and after ordering 2 pairs, I am ready to order more.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative of Quay, but also looking for good quality, I think Spitfire may be your saving grace!

Packaging:

Let's admire for a second that they give you CASES. And it isn't flimsy cases either, it's hard glasses case, that gives you a very satisfying clack when it closes. I will admit that it can get a bit bulky, but they give your sunglasses a more upgraded look.

What's there to really complain about?

Quality:

These glasses are actually made so well, they could probably compete with Ray-Bans. Although I will admit that they are in their own separate category because Ray-Ban has very normal sunglasses, but Spitfire walks out of its comfort zone. Their sunglasses are unique, and I have never see any other kinds of sunglasses in the market like they have.

So even though I say that they can compete with Quay, I actually don't think they can. Let me clarify: in terms of price and quality, they can absolutely compare. Spitfire is better than Quay in both those aspects. But when it comes to the type of sunglasses, Quay is very "normal" and "tame", whereas, as I've said before, Spitfire is very out of the ordinary, and very "unique". Their designs wow me, is basically what I am trying to say.

Final Thoughts:

Honestly, when it comes to price and quality, you probably cannot find a website that beats Spitfire. Especially if you are looking for unique sunglasses.

I understand that one can definitely buy similar looking sunglasses for a fraction of the price, but I am a big believer in quality over quantity. Their sunglasses will last me for a long time, and that's all that matters to me. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to pass them onto my grandkids and they can call it vintage in the future.
