Where I've Been
I don't know how many of you actually pay attention to my blog, but you would've realized that I haven't been posting for a few months. And today I am here to explain why.
None of this is meant to sound like an excuse in any way, but just as a way for me to remain transparent with you :)
So I made this decision about writing an honors thesis, even though I have almost zero intention of attending graduate school. I decided to put myself a world of pain just to do a research topic I was interesting in >_<
Even though it sounds like I don't like it, I am really interested in the topic I am pursuing, and because of that, there's a lot of things that needed to be done within the fall semester.
Current Job at School
I support myself (mostly) through my job at school, and that takes up a lot of my time, especially since I am required to be present in my house/dorm and hold open hours. I have many meetings with this job, and it's part of my life that takes up a lot of time.
But still, no regrets :)
Across the board, one of the biggest things I heard by recent alums is to enjoy senior year.
So I am trying to factor in time with my friends so I can see them as much as humanly possible without regretting it once I graduate.
Let's be real, this is the real time user for this year, and this fall semester. Because the jobs I initially wanted were recruiting in the fall, I had to really be on top of it. So most of past three months have been just me writing cover letters when I got the time. >_<
I've been getting into the gym a lot more recently by going every day of the week. I know that even though going to the gym usually takes up 3 hours of my time that can be devoted to blogging, I am still enjoying it, and unwilling to give it up.
I actually started writing a book...that I won't give too much details about, but it's now another side project that I'm working on.
Even though I haven't been posting, I was still creating content on my blog.
The real reason why I stopped blogging is because I like pre-writing so I can go through times without having to write anything. However, towards the end of the summer, I was using up a lot of the content I had pre-written without writing anything new, and that's coming back to bite me.
So, I have been slowly writing my blog posts so I can post without the stress of writing the following week's blog post.
If you want to stay up to date with me though, please follow me on Instagram :)
What kind of blog posts are you excited to see me post?
