MAC 'Studio Fix Foundation Powder' Review
I've heard of this product so much that I thought for sure I had to try it! And I also think this is my first MAC face product.
MAC's original packaging is pretty simple and easy to use. I will say that I do wish they could change it up... revamp their style. It seems like there's just so much make up brands out there that do the whole all-black packaging thing.
But for this product, it's simple and easy to use. Sometimes it does feel a little chunky but otherwise it's pretty easy.
I do love how they have the extra contraption to securely open and close the packaging so if you put it in your bag, you don't have to worry about it opening in your bag.
This powder is extremely finely milled and there is no excess powder when you use the product.
In terms of coverage, I would say it's medium just because it definitely covers my redness, but it does not cover some of my scars.
This powder goes on to your skin very well.
I purchased this because I wanted something quick and easy for the summer, and I've heard great things about this. I also wanted to be able to bring it with me to places so I can touch up.
In terms of lasting power, I think without the touch ups, it would still last the day, however since it is in powder form, it does come off slightly easier than liquid foundation. So during the day, I do need to do some touch-ups.
For touch ups, it's quick and easy to touch up. I've had weird moments where with those sponges cake up the make up, but this didn't really do that as much.
I will say that it does get oily if you are naturally oily. It can also get quite uncomfortable because of how oily you may feel. However, if you are not naturally oily like me, then this foundation powder should be no problem for you!
I am genuinely very happy with this product and I am excited to continue using it in the summer!
I definitely recommend this product because you can lightly dust it on, or cake it on (if you want that kind of effect).
