L'Oreal 'Color Riche Eyeshadow' Review

L'Oreal 'Color Riche Eyeshadow' Review

Amelia Liana is a big advocate of L'Oreal single eyeshadows and I have been meaning to try them for a long time. I saw these individual shadows on L'Oreal's new display so I decided to give it a try!

I picked up two shadows to do a natural smokey eye with.

I am extremely neutral with the packaging.

I think it does the job fine and is sturdy enough that I wouldn't be super scared with dropping it and breaking the lid.

It is a little bit bulky though, so if you were to buy more than just one or two like I did, it might take up quite a bit of space.

This eyeshadow is EXTREMELY creamy, and thus very soft. It almost feels like a cross between a gel eyeshadow and a regular powder eyeshadow.

When you apply it, it is extremely easy to blend and you definitely do not need to rush to make it look good. It just looks good as long as you blend the edges out a little.

Lasting Power

While the eyeshadow is gorgeous even though I had my right eye (in the picture) primed, it still ended up creasing the same as my left eye, without primer. By the end of the day, both eyes creased just as much.

I don't even though I had a particularly gruelling day. And it was cold outside.

So the lasting power on these eye shadows are subpar at best. If you do not have oily lids, perhaps dry lids, then these eyeshadows might work very well for you.

Overall Thoughts

I really wished these eyeshadow worked because they are so beautiful.

I'm going to continue wearing them because they are so gorgeous, but I might just have to bring them with me when I'm having a long day and reapply.

Either way, I don't know if I would recommend them or not.
