In my last review of EM cosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud, I said that their website launched on the 17th, and of course I bought more of their cosmetics ;)

I wanted to do a review on the differences between the Felt Tip and Brush Tip of EM Cosmetics Illustrative eyeliners.

You can check out the video below, or read the quick review further down!

Here is the packaging for both Illustrative Eyeliners.

Currently they only have the Illustrative Eyeliners in black, but I am ready for the new colors they may come out with!

I was so in love with the formula of these products that I bought 2 more (French Nude and Crimson Red).

They are honestly amazing formulas, and I'm totally ready to rock these new lippies!

Illustrative Eyeliner - Brush Tip

This eyeliner takes patience and time to use, because of how flexible the tip is. I would almost say that it's better for people with practice, but practice makes perfect so I'm not going to say that ;)

The color pay off of this eyeliner is not as potent as the Felt Tip, but the lines it draws is a lot more thin and precise.

Illustrative Eyeliner - Felt Tip

This eyeliner is the classic eyeliner that is Kat Von D's signature Tattoo Liner. It is a stiffer brush compared to the Brush Tip, it also dispenses darker pigment than the Brush tip (which Michelle Phan herself says, so full disclosure).

This eyeliner is the easier one to use for me because of how used to the tip I am, but it is also fool proof compared to the Brush tip.

Together

Together, they are a dynamic and powerful duo. If you practice enough, you can get the perfect inner line with the Brush tip, while getting a precise winged look with the Brush tip but then the quickest and darkest color with the Felt tip.

It's totally complementary, and they work super well together.

Plus, they are both extremely waterproof and transfer proof! As someone with the oiliest of all eyelids (like to the point where this is only the second eyeliner I've ever found that doesn't transfer on me...) I can attest that these totally stay on, and the pigment lasts.

Obviously I am enamored by EM cosmetics current products, and it is also totally worth it too.

I'm really glad that Michelle Phan brought her company back to life again, and am really excited for her other products!

Are you interested in trying out EM cosmetics? If you have tried them, what do you think?

What should I review next?
