Daiso 'Natural Pack Charcoal Peel Off Mask' Review
My Biore Pore Packs are slowly running out (I typically do one once a week) and I wanted to find a good substitute that isn't as expensive.
I had been having my eye on this product for a long time on Amazon, and finally decided to get it to try it out.
And so far...well, you can read my review to find out? ;)
It's a screw top, so it's pretty straight forward.
It's not that big of a problem unless you have to lay the bottle down to apply the product and then you just need to find a flat surface.
It's a cross between a liquid and gel like consistency. So even though it isn't super runny, it's also not super dense. You do want to cover up your entire nose so you don't see any skin, since it'll make it easier to remove.
And tip: if you only put a thin layer, it'll just be more painful for you to remove!
It goes on super smooth and easy. It's super fuss free because of how simple the instructions are (even though the bottle is mostly in Japanese, there are English instructions!).
The more you put on your cheek though, the more pain you will feel. It is definitely less painful if it's just around your nose area.
It definitely removes from blackheads/pores (blackheads are hard to see because the mask itself is black...).
Like I said above, it does hurt if you apply it too thin, and if you apply it far away from your nose.
When it's dry, you'll know because the pore mask goes from super shiny to super matte. But the good thing is that it feels like your skin and doesn't feel uncomfortable at all.
As the mask drys though, you will have a tightening feeling which feels great. It says to not use more than twice a week. If you do...I honestly think it'll just make your skin sensitive since it does hurt upon peeling. So keep that in mind.
Now, because I typically go outside of my nose, I think I am using more/application than I should be, but even then I can see this pore pack lasting me a good few months in conjunction to my Biore pore packs.
While I enjoy this, and it's cheaper, I don't think I would give up my Biore Pore Packs, only because it's super travel friendly, easy, and quick to use. It doesn't really require to clean up after yourself except to throw the wrapping away.
Still, I definitely recommend this product. It's a good substitute for sure. :)
