Soap & Glory 'Archery Volu-Boost Brow Fibre Gel' Review

Soap & Glory 'Archery Volu-Boost Brow Fibre Gel' Review

I knew this product existed, but wasn't sure what the reviews were. I felt like this product, and other brow gel products have become dwarfed since Glossier's Boy Brow entered the market.

But I decided to give this product a try anyway, especially since it's about at the same price point as the Boy Brow ($16) (this product is $12).

This review isn't necessarily a make up battle, but it is a semi comparison, mostly because they do about the same thing.

Good for sparse brows.

I don't necessarily have sparse brows, but I have big brows with little brow hairs for the surface area.

And my brows have been troubling me for awhile. However, after using this product, I can almost leave the house with fuller brows in 2 minutes. So if you have sparse brows, or just none thick brows, then this product might be for you.

Powdery.

The Boy Brow is a gel for sure, it's liquidy, but this product, as soon as you apply it to your brows, it almost becomes a kind of powder.

And that is good, because it softens your brows, but it is also annoying if you want more defined brows. Thankfully I don't care about definition, so it works for me.

High pigment.

Yeah, for sure. Compared to the Boy Brow, there is definitely more products on the brush, so it goes onto your brows very heavy, which brings out the high pigment on your brows.

You can almost do one or two swipe, and then move onto the other brow. That's how much pigment there is.

Since I am already comparing this product with the Boy Brow, I would just like to say that for my brows, this product makes much more sense. With the Boy Brow, even though it gives me some color, it only gives me the bare minimum. And even then, it's only good for me on the days that I don't want to wear much make up.

Still, I love the Boy Brow, and won't be giving it up any time soon.

I don't usually outwardly recommend a product, because most products have pros and cons.

But I do really recommend this brow product, especially if you want no-fuss brows. And I hope I have convinced you to give this product a try. BTW, you can find this at Target if you live in the States ;)
